Little Niece

These are some progress photos from the piece I did for my niece. 

It started out as some doodles in my sketchbook. Trying to figure out what she was wearing and what I wanted her to be doing. I thought gardening would be the best choice because she loved getting outside and picking vegetables in the garden in her backyard with her mother and grandmother. 

Then it evolved in to sketches on my ipad and slowly but surely it came along. 

This isn't the final image but close to it. I had to tweak some of the colors but it came out a lot better than I thought it would. It's rare if I get past just sketching something and in a full color illustration.
